Empowering ‘Nong Tle’s confidence at Wansiri Hospital with Dr. Saran

Many readers of this article surely have their own dreams that serve as daily inspirations. Similar is the case with “Nong Tle” (Jirawat Piamthong), a transgender who dreamed of participating in a beauty pageant and aspired to wear her own crown.

However, her journey was not as smooth as others. Due to genetic reasons, she was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 15. To continue living and pursue her dreams, “Nong Tle” had to sacrifice her left leg.

Besides the amputation, Nong Tle underwent several chemotherapy sessions, which resulted in her hair loss. Eventually, she decided to shave her head. It was more loss than any 15 years old teenager should endure, which eroded her self-confidence and hope directly.

But life is invaluable. One day, she realized that her ultimate dream was yet to be achieved. And these challenges couldn’t suppress her ambition. She finally secured the First Runner-Up title of RMUTR STAR 2022.

Even with all of her success, the loss she experienced at 15 continued to haunt her. She deeply wished for breast augmentation to enhance her feminine appearance.

“Even if I don’t have a complete body, this new pair will complete me.”

This surgery aims to restore the confidence she once lost. However, due to her history with bone cancer, the surgery was not as straightforward as for others.

Luckily, Nong Tle was under the care of Wansiri Hospital, a reputed institution with specialized doctors in every domain. For this surgery, Dr. Saran Wannachamras, an expert in cosmetic surgery and a key executive at Wansiiri Hospital, was there to assist.

The surgery had two objectives:

1) To make her completely “32” – this new pair of breasts, boosting her self-confidence, and ensuring the point that “she didn’t less than anyone else.” as her used to feel

2) To ensure that the surgery does not interfere with her previous medical conditions, which is her bone cancer.

Dr. Saran said that because Nong Tle uses crutches, this affects her muscles that it is firmer, so Dr. Saran chose to place silicone implants over the muscle. This approach would make the breasts appear natural and not compressed by the muscles. However, individual results might vary.

Apart from meticulously planning the surgery, Dr. Saran also shared his long-term vision for this Nong Tle case.

The doctor emphasized the complexity of her case, highlighting her history with malignant tumors. There’s no guarantee that the cancer won’t return, but for this present time, Nong Tle’s happiness and confidence after safely receiving her new pair of breasts are the most valuable things in the long run.”

A big thank you to Ee Jan, SOMBATSARA TEERASAROCH, and Dr. Saran Wannachamras, for the information and for helping Nong Tle in achieving her dream. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has sent Nong Tle support during her journey.

The admin wants to be there for Nong Tle in her future endeavors. May she always be blessed with a sweet disposition and a long, healthy life.
